Death in the time of Dengue

Ajmal Kasab has become a notorious household name and due to the much paid media attention when he suffers from fever, it  becomes a news. He is the lone alive man among the group of terrorists who killed nearly 166 people in the infamous 26/11 Mumbai attack. He has been inside the Arthur road jail since then and after nearly a four-year-long legal battle, on August 29 the Supreme Court had confirmed the death penalty to him for being involved in a grave crime and waging war against India , his mercy petition was rejected by the Government of India citing the magnitude and rarity of his crime and sent it's recommendation to the president.

Now reportedly he is suffering from fever. "Kasab is being treated for fever for the past few days. Suspecting that the prisoner could be suffering from dengue, three tests were conducted on him by a team of doctors of JJ hospital but the results were negative. Doctors do not want to take any chance. Kasab is under observation and responding well to the treatment," said a police official on condition of anonymity.
