Sunanda Pushkar, the wife of the new cabinet minister for Human Resources Department, HRD, Shashi Tharoor, had to repeatedly keep herself safe from prying hands in the crowd at the Thiruvananthapuram airport.

A malayalam news channel has put up the clipping of the incident at the airport on YouTube where Sunanda is seen slapping a member, claimed the miscreant to be a Youth Congress member. However the veracity of the statement couldn't be verified.

Sunanda, in the video also warns the man as the security men try to keep her safe from the miscreants before she reached the car.

Gujarat Chief Minister, Narendra Modi, earlier today called her a 50-crore girlfriend to Shashi Tharoor hinting at the 2010 cricket controversy which involved Sunanda. It was after this incident that Shashi had to resign as a Minister of State for External Affairs.

Shashi Tharoor has made a comeback statement immediately today on Twitter saying his wife was worth more than “50 crores”. "My wife is worth a lot more than your imaginary 50 crores. She is priceless. But you need to be able to love someone to understand that," Tharoor tweeted.

Modi is probably in the blaming phase. Yesterday, he called Manmohan Singh “Maun” Mohan Singh lashing at him for his silence in the party and being a puppet to the Sonia Gandhi.
