Naveen Jindal highest paid executive, again

The Chairman and Managing Director of Jindal Steel and Power Ltd, JSPL, Naveen Jindal has been mentioned as the highest paind executive in India for the second time in a row. He was clear winner in the race after his annual income boasted a figure of Rs 73.42 crores per year. This figure is Rs. 6 crores higher than last year.

Sun Network's prominent personalities Kalanithi and Kavery Maran were both second and third respectively with 53.01 Crore rupees in their deep purses.


Naveen Jindal, Chairman and Managing Director of Jindal Steel and Power Ltd (JSPL) tops the list of highest paid executive for second consecutive year. For the financial year 2011-12, Jindal took home a package of Rs 73.42 crore, around Rs 6 crore more from previous year, reports PTI.

Hero MotoCorp's Pawan Munjal and Brijmohan Lall Munjal took home Rs 34.47 crore and Rs 34.44 crore respectively to be named as the 4th and 5th highest earning executives in India for this financial year.

The figures mentioned included all the expenses to the company like the sary, perquisites, incentives based on profits, commissions and other benefits.

This year the top ten highest paid executives' earnings had witnessed a 12 per cent rise; Rs 43 crore to Rs 387 crore, as of fiscal ended March 31, 2012.
