A Woman was found dead in a lodge on Thursday morning after being stabbed to death. The thirty year old, investigations revealed, was stabbed by her lover who was in an illicit affair with her since six years.

Anita the victim was called to Airavat Lodge near RV College of Engineering on Mysore Road by Yogesh, the assailant. Yogesh was a worker at the lodge. He had not taken the permission for the room from the manager. The lodge was also under renovation.

Yogesh had mentioned his crime to a few people close to him but he is on the run now. Police are in the process of tracing him. According to the story from them, Anita reached the lodge around 9.30am Thursday. After a heated discussion he had stabbed her and fled from the lodge.

Anitha had married Manjunath of Byrasandra but had lived separately since seven years.

Anita was married to Manjunath of Byrasandra but they'd been living separately for the past seven years. She was in love with Yogesh since six years. Yogesh had been troubled when Anita had returned often to her husband and an argument on the same had pushed Yogesh to take the extreme step, the police said.
