Shootout at Empire State Building

In an open shooting at the Empire State building on Friday, according to reports from the New York Police, the touristic destination had to witness two deaths. At least eight people were also wounded in the incident. Chaos and tension prevailed in the atmosphere as the incident had left several tourists and local commuters speechless after the shooting.

A source said that the shooter was also killed in the shootings. He also confirmed that it was not any terrorist attack.
The police had recovered a body draped in whites, which was speculated to be the shooter. However, the police had not confirmed if it was the shooter.
According to the police, the shooter had fired the gun at an employee against whom he had a grievance but the nature of the grievance was unknown.
Dalhia Anister, a worker near the trademark destination said that she had heard the distinct pop of the gunshots.

The Shootings took place at 9 a.m local time, 1 pm GMT, on the side walk of the always busy Fifth Avenue, just outside the Midtown Manhattan building.
The cause of concern is that this also happens to be the peak season for tourists. The world famous structure was cordoned off by the police. The Empire State Building is two blocks from Pennsylvania Station and eight blocks from Grand Central Terminal, two of New York City's main transportation hubs.
