What has started as a protests against the recent killings in the Assam violence had gone awry as the protesters had turned incendiaries after they set several vehicles in the site on fire.

OB vans that belonged to three TV channels were set ablaze and the cameras of the media were destroyed.

A few reports have revealed hat the protesters had also attacked several shops at the CST subway.

Fortunately, there were no casualties or injuries that were reported. The police are striving to get the situation under control.
