Only after three week after the death of Superstar Rajesh Khanna, his family had opened their mouths regarding the claims of Anita Advani to be his live-in partner and lover. They have denied her claims saying that they were not true.
Advocate Bheru Chowdary, lawyer for Twinkle Khanna, had mentioned in a four page reply to the legal notice, said that Anita Advani has no rights whatsoever to make any claims on the property of the actor. Advani had sent a legal notice to the actor only a day before he died on July 18th through her lawyer Mridula Kadam.
The lawyers of both the sided had parried making a comment on the issue.
Advani who is related to the family of a former Philippines president had come to India to try her chances as a producer in Bollywood. She also claimed that she had served Kaka in his last stages when he needed help the most. She had made claims on the property after she was jettisoned from his house on Carter Road, Bandra, West. She also said that she was humiliated by the Khanna family at the funeral procession.
Bheru's reply said that she is not entitled to any legal rights as she is not recognized by the family as part of the actor's life.
Though they lived separately, Dimple Kapadia and Rajesh Khanna were not divorced.
