Pune blasts: IAC protestors halt their agitation

The Indian Against Corruption protestors, who have been supporting the fast of Anna Hazare and his followers, have halted their agitation for a day on Thursday in Pune as the police asked them to stop the protest in the explosion hit Pune in order to carry out the investigation smoothly.  The investigation is going on in Pune and the police are still interrogating the injured person in the blast. According to the police, the injured person was one Dayananda Patil, a local tailor. Although the sources said Patil was not an accused, the police are yet to give a clean chit to Mr. Patil.

It may be recalled that five low intensity explosions rocked Pune city on Wednesday evening. The bomb squad was swiftly pressed into the action, which defused a bomb.
