Less than a couple of days after the sad demise of the veteran superstar Rajesh Khanna, his residence on Carters road is engulfed in controversies. Keeping in mind the last wish of the original superstar and the wish of his two daughters Twinkle and Rinki Khanna, his sea-facing bungalow on Carter Road in Bandra West is likely to be converted into museum. The museum will comprise of Khanna's clothes, trophies, cars and other memorabilia. The superstar breathed his last at Ashirwad residence in Mumbai, on Wednesday.
However, Kaka's live-in partner Anita Advani seems to be sidetracked from the family and slammed a notice on the family for her share of the creamy pie, 'aashirvaad'. A source said, "for the last one month, the family has been trying to oust Anita Advani from the house, where she claims she has been living with Rajesh Khanna for the last eight years. This is why she sent the notice." Anita Advani sent the notice through her advocate Mridula Kadam. Kadam, however, declined to comment on the notice.
Speaking to Mid Day, Anita Advani claimed, "He had started pushing me away. There were days where he didn't even want to speak to his own family. They began isolating me, and I began to feel lost. I sent that notice when I was annoyed. Without him, I had nowhere else to go. But I never thought I would actually lose him. The timing was really bad."
