Melancholy was cast all around Bhayander creek as 2 teens drowned at the Jesal Park. Both the teens were XII standard students at Kandivili. This incident took place when three friends Anand Yadav (17), Harshad Yadav (16) and Abhishek Singh (17) went to attend the housewarming ceremony of their friend Sukhsagar Shukla which was held at Bhayander (east) on Tuesday morning.

According to the Navgarh Police, all four friends went out to swim at the Jesal park chowpatty in the afternoon. Sukhsagar stayed back while the others went on to swim in the beach. A little while later only Abishek returned while the other two were dragged into the sea by the currents.

Fire Brigade approached the scene and found Harshad's body at 3 pm while Anand's body is still missing.

Harshad and Anand were residing at Abhilasha Nagar, Iranivadi in Kandivili and were studying at Nirmala Memorial Foundation College which is also in Kandivili. Their fathers were both auto drivers and they were utterly shocked when informed about the tragic incident.
