26/11 handler reveals the attack planned on Nashik Police Academy

Zaibuddin Ansari better known as Abu Jundal, after interrogation, has spoken about an attack planned on Nashik Police academy, Maharashtra. Following the successful attempt of a similar attack on Lahore Police Academy, Abu Jundal, the highest Indian officer of Lashkar e Toiba (LeT), has made plans to infiltrate the academy in police uniforms and carry out the operation.

Jundal was arrested in Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi on June 21 after being deported at the airport in Saudi Arabia. Jundal said that the plans went at a slower pace, but still  progressing, after the arrests pertaining to the German Bakery Blast case in Febuary 2010. He also stated the Lashkar activists from Pakistan could still be actively planning for an attack on the police academy despite the arrests.

Jundal has been proving to be a treasure of information related to the terrorist activities and bloodshed of the ghastly 26/11. He has also told the interrogators that he was trained in Pakistan. The link between the 26/11 attack and the Afghans has also been disclosed. Samples of his voices have already been recorded and have been sent to the intelligence agencies to find a match with the already available recordings.

Jundal has been taken into the custody of the Delhi Police till July 5th and after they complete their interrogation related to the 26/11 conspiracy, Jundal is to be handed over to the Mumbai Police for further questioning.
