Abu Jundal alias Zabiuddin Ansari was trained to attack India in the World Trade Centre style. The Pakistan-based terror outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) had planned to use him as a weapon to smash the high rise buildings or dams in India like the 9/11 raids in US. The fact was revealed by the 26/11 Mumbai blast accused Jundal, as he was being interrogated by the Indian forces on Wednesday according to sources. Jundal also is reported to have said that the LeT had revived its ‘naval wing’ and added flight training to its ‘curriculum’. He further said that alongwith him another two youth from Maharashtra Fayyaz Kagzi from Beed and Mohammad Rahil Sheikh from Thane, had been recruited together and received maritime and aviation training in Karachi.
Stunning revealations by the accused has put the national security forces on more alert. Earlier sources claim that the control room in Karachi, which had several satellite phones, mobile phones and TV sets, had turned into a celebration room controlled Jindal during the Mumbai blasts. And after the three day saga ended with Indian forces overpowering the terrorists and taking Kasab into custody, jubilation was visible in the Karachi control room.
As per top sources, "Jundal said the common words after the attack came to an end were 'Mubarak ho! Hamne teen din tak Hindustan ki security forces ke saath ladai ki, jo wo hamesha yaad karenge (we fought with Indian security forces for three days, which they are not going to forget)'. Since the operation had stretched for three days and Kasab had been caught, they were asked by Zaki-ur-Rehman Lakhvi to return to their hideouts."
As per sources Jundal has been well motivated by the LeT. He seems to have no regrets for the action in Mumbai which killed nearly 165 innocent public. Jundal got himself in the clutches of the LeT after being depressed by the Gujarat ryots.
Sources claimed that the aerial assault, which was being planned for years, was the operation for which Jundal was arranging financial assistance while in ‘exile’ at Saudi Arabia after 26/11. (With inputs from internet- AW AarKay)
