Congress General Secretary Mr Rashid Alvi said today the congress would win the 2014 elections and party leader Rahul Gandhi would become the PM.
“That Rahul would become the Prime Minister of India in 2014 elections is s forgone conclusion,” he told newspersons in Lucknow.
Reacting to the statement of BJP spokesman Ravi Shankar Prasad asking Rahul Gandhi to dare to become the PM, Alvi said he was happy BJP had realized that Congress would regain power in 2014 elections and Rahul would become the PM.
Ravi Shankar Prasad in a recent sarcastic remark asked Rahul to dare to become the Prime Minister as that would expose his capabilities as a leader.
Alwi said BJP is also sure of regaining its position as the main opposition party in the next elections. “We will win in Uttarakhand, Punjab and Manipur too,” he said confidently. (JUBS)
