Karnataka chief minister BS Yeddyurappa, who had openly announced that he was under the influence of black magic resorted to by his enemies, started ‘naked ritual’ as a counter measure to negate its influence since Monday, according to a story published in a Telugu daily.

It may be mentioned Yeddy expressed his apprehensions on Monday that his enemies had used black magic against him to create troubles for him in politics. “I fear to step into the secretariat,” he told media persons.

Quoting the sources close to Yeddyurappa, the story says that as part of the ritual suggested by his Tantric advisers, the chief minister started sleeping naked on naked floor. The Tantric advisers reportedly told him to sleep naked on naked floor continuously for two days without a break before New Moon to come out of the influence of black magic.
The ritual has one more formality. As per the story, he should offer 12 Surya Namaskarams after a naked bath in a river to complete the naked ritual. He is reportedly planning to complete this formality between February 8 and 10. The story says that Mr Bhanu Prakash Sharma, family purohit of the chief minister advised him to fulfill the ritual to come out of the black magic influence and to protect himself from the affliction of transit Rahu which shortly enters his moon sign Scorpio.
