India sulks with US for mistreating students

Amid the disturbing news that Indian students were fastened with radio-trackers on their feet, the External Affairs Ministry has termed the whole incident unacceptable and avoidable. Indian external affairs ministry, S M Krishna, tri-valley university, US, 500 students, misuse of visa, F1 visa, US law enforce deparment  Aghast at the barbaric treatment thrust upon the indian student community, External Affairs Ministers S M Krishna issued a statement in the press that he has conveyed his anguish and strong displeasure to the US authorities over the way the Indian students were handled.  

It may be recalled that a few days back the university was closed down by the US authorities for its duplicity in according student visas to more than 500 students from India. Out of a student strength of 1555 at Tri-Valley University, nearly 90 percent of them are from India, especially Andhra Pradesh.
In the wake of the closure of the university, the students are in a serious danger of being deported to India after their visa has been revoked by the US authorities on the grounds of misuse of visa.

The investigation carried out by the US Law Enforce Department unearthed the instances of gross misuse of visa. Students who secured F1 visa were found to be working illegally across the different pockets  of the country namely, Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Texas.
