Dhanush's Dedication in Discussion:- Tamil actor Dhanush has proven his mettle in films like Asuran and Captain Miller and is known for his realistic portrayals. “Dhanush is truly a passionate actor. He doesn't mind standing in a garbage dump in Mumbai for over 10 hours for his upcoming film Kubera, in which he plays a supporting role,” says the source, adding, “Director Shekhar Kammula is also there. Known for his realistic cinematography, he wanted to shoot the climax near a garbage dump to show his character's pain in the harsh and smelly conditions. Dhanush agreed to shoot the scene without batting an eye, and the actor and director shot for over 12 hours without masks to capture the realistic and touching sequence,” he adds.

Dhanush, who also won a National Award for his performance in Aadukulam, certainly knows how to bring characters to life in terms of looks, body language and subtle acting. "The audience will see Dhanush's new avatar in the pan-Indian film Kuberan," he added. Director Shekhar Kammula, known for tender romantic novels like Love Story and Fida, is also exploring a new genre and trying his hand at action-adventure films. "Shekhar Kammula wanted to do something different from his usual films and created this thrilling and scary story to showcase his versatility," he notes. The makers have released the first look of veteran star Nagarjuna from the film which has been well received.
