Telangana Congress collecting RR Tax: Narendra Modi:- During a public gathering in the Zaheerabad Lok Sabha constituency, Prime Minister Narendra Modi accused the Congress government in Telangana of collecting an illicit tax called 'RR tax' from industrialists and contractors. He further claimed that a portion of this undisclosed income is being sent to Delhi. PM Modi urged the people of Telangana to vote for BJP candidates in order to curb the imposition of 'RR tax', specifically referring to Chief Minister Revanth Reddy as RR. He warned that if this tax is left uncontrolled, it will lead to the destruction of Telangana, making recovery impossible. PM Modi drew a parallel between the successful Telugu film 'RRR' and the damaging effects of RR tax, stating that while the film brought glory to the country, the tax is bringing shame. According to PM Modi, industrialists and contractors in Telangana are being coerced into paying a certain percentage of their earnings as RR tax through illegal means. There are allegations that a portion of this undisclosed money is finding its way to Delhi.
The Prime Minister criticized the idea of implementing an inheritance tax, arguing that it would result in a significant portion of people's life savings being taken away. He accused the Congress and BRS parties of being part of a corruption network, highlighting their failure to investigate alleged corruption in the Kaleshwaram project and their alliance with the Aam Aadmi Party involved in a liquor scam. PM Modi also criticized the BRS party for their lack of progress in the cash-for-vote case during their time in power. Furthermore, he accused the Congress of betraying farmers by not fulfilling their promise to waive off loans and emphasized that the welfare of farmers is a priority for the BJP. Finally, the Prime Minister credited the votes from the people for the BJP's success in making the Ram Temple in Ayodhya a reality. Immediately following Independence, structures were erected and it was asserted that a nation witnesses the power of a resolute and forceful government in shaping history through its actions.
