Some bottles and jars have screw caps that require super human strength to open. Sometimes even superhuman strength doesn't work. All the screaming and grunting in the world will have no effect on the formidable opponent, "Tight-cap bottle".

As the adage goes, Fury or force cuts no ice where gentleness does the job, all you need is a little smart thinking. Solids expand on heating is a science technique we have heard several times but seldom applied. Take a lighter or on a stove, heat just the cap for 5-6 seconds while uniformly rotating the bottle to spread heat.

Try opening the cap with half the force you used earlier. There is no way the bottle won't open. End of frustration!

Note: Don't over do it.
