Renting a house?

There are several things one must pay attention to when you move to a new house that you might rent.

1. Check all the rooms, for sufficient storage, attics.

2. A flat on the lower levels requires less cooling than the others, so it will help you bring down your AC bills. If at all you need to heat a room, it wouldn't take much cost anyway.

3. Check if you have a paking that is easily accessible at the times you generally go out. If it appears crammed at the peak hours, remember that you have to deal with the same problem almost everyday.

4. Take pictures of everything in the house that is not in working condition to ask your owner if he would fix it before you move in.

5. Make sure that all walls are painted new for you.

6. If it is furninshed, you should check the appliances provided to be in working condition. You can also check the light switches, sockets and ask the owner to get a few newer ones fitted in case you don't have enough in the rooms.

7. Most importantly check the water pressure in the houses. If it is not very strong, there could be some problem or scarcity in the house.
