Style mantra? Simple

‘Simple’… the word that we always love to use in n number of scenarios, that too when there is a talk going on something related to our look. And looking simple has also become a trend these days. Of course, for all those functions and special occasions, just being simple is not sufficient. On the other hand, we cannot even afford to look ‘gaudy’ as well, as many of us will not be able to carry that ‘chanmkili’ look… then what to do? For daily routine it is okay. But what to do in the case of getting ready to any special occasion or function? How to groom our look to be special yet simple and elegant? How to carry our look gracefully? Well, here are some quick tips that can help you to think about this;

•    Never complicate things. It is not only a pattusaree, but also n number of varieties of designer wear saris that give that ‘rich’ look for you and yet appear to be simple and elegant.

•    Choose only those colors that are accepted by your eye vision. All those dark pinks, green and yellow colors might be good in front of Camera, but may not gel well in the reality. So, chose only those color of your party wear that is rich and yet special but not too much out of the box.

•    Red, pink, blue, ash, these colors of lips sticks, nail colors and also the eye shadows are a big no – no. if you want to wear the eye shadow, matching to your dress, then be careful and check out with your look twice before finalizing on it. It is not the style but your comfort that makes you look special.

•    Dress according to the occasion. If it a small event like that of any get together, family function or a small time party, you can go with all those favorite party wear shalwar suits of yours. But, if it is an event like marriage, reception, then to prefer sari is a better option. And as I said to you earlier, you can also wear your favorite ‘netted’ sari, or a designer sari and still look rich. In fact, this trend is ‘in’ these days, as by wearing this you can also experiment with your jeweler.

•    By jewelry, I remember to tell you, do not over load yourself with all the jewelry you have got, even though it is a status symbol. Again, wear the jewelry according to your dress and situation. It you have a matching jewelry nothing like it. It is not at all about, show off. It is about projecting your personality.

•    Finally, your hair. If you have that beautiful long hair, then you can just tie it with the clutch or plat the hair. If you have got that trendy hair, than prefer not wearing ‘jumkaas’ and give a more ethnic look to you. It can be a mix of a trend and ethnic wear. For short hair, you can just tie some portion of your hair with the clutch and slightly curler the edges of your hair. Remember, if you are planning to straighten your hair, and then do it from the tip to toe of your hair.

So, it is all about how you carry your look, baby!
