I still remember, the straighten hair ka look that started wooing the woman. Surprisingly, till date, despite of many other hair styles coming up in the fashion industry, the straight hair is still preferred by most of the woman. The reasons could be many, say like many of us would connect our body language to this look as it is said that we look innocent at the same time matured with the straightened hair.

Many of our favorite heroines, in many films, till date are opting for that ‘straightened hair’ ka look.Whether it is Katrina kaif or Kareenakapoor. And since these days, the trend of appearing with long and healthy and beautiful hair, the trend of straightening the hair has also gained back its demand. It is not that, this interest does not at all has negative affect, but proper maintenance of the hair, post straightening can overcome all the negative effects.

So, despite of curling or giving that wavy look to our hair at times, we prefer straightening our hair. Let’s not talk about the negative yaar, ab agar decide kar hi liyahaitoh, let’s talk about how to get that perfect straightening to you hair;

1. Taking a proper Shower helps if the shampoo is recommended for a straight look or has "silicone" in it. Remember to always use a conditioner so your hair doesn't dry out from the straightener.

2. Rinse your hair with cold water before getting out, this locks moisture in your hair and prevents some damage.

3. Wrap your wet hair in a towel for atleast 15 minutes.

4. After five minutes, take the towel off and comb your hair using a detangling (or wide-tooth) comb.

5. Apply straightening balm. Make sure to cover all areas of your hair. 

6. Comb your hair every 30 minutes, and then blow dry hair.

7. Optionally, instead of naturally drying your hair, put in a straight blow dry serum. Blows dry your hair section by section using a round brush for best effect.

8. After, straighten your hair section by section using a flat iron.

9. Lightly spray on hairspray. Spray the hairspray onto your palm and apply it to those hard-to-reach areas such as the bottom layer of your hair

10. You can also use the shiny hair spray if you wish to get that shiny look to your hair. But, make sure that this would not be regular. 

11. Now that you have achieved your dream look, please make sure that you would maintain the same. Otherwise, it would not take much of a time to your hair to turn as rough as a scrub.
