8 killed due to rains in Hyd

At least eight persons were killed due to heavy downpour since last night. The incidents of deaths were reported at several parts of the city. A woman and her three sons died in Adithya Nagar of Hafizpet when the wall of their house collapsed due to heavy rains. In Balanagar, four of them were reported dead due to wall collapse. The sources said that more death cases might be reported in the next two days. Already, situation has turned chaotic in Hyderabad.
At several parts of the city, water logging is causing severe trouble to people. While traffic police seem to be taking no action, a good number of press photographers were taking the photographs of water entering into city buses. It was taking around more than an hour in some parts of the city for traveling two to three kilometres.
