K A Paul remanded to judicial custody

The Ongole police on Monday arrested the Prajashanti party founder and Christian preacher, K A Paul in Prakasam district in connection with the alleged murder of his brother David Raju a couple of years ago over a property dispute. K A Paul along with two others were produced before the Magistrate this morning. The Magistrate remanded K A Paul to judicial custody and he was therefore shifted to the jail.
Reacting on the incident, K A Paul has said that the chief minister Kiran Kumar Reddy and Kadapa MP Jaganmohan Reddy targeted him. K A Paul stirred up a controversy by making statements on late Y S Rajashekara Reddy. He alleged late YSR was subjected to the anger of God only because the former was behind the arrest of K A Paul earlier.
It may be recalled that David Raju was found murdered in 2010 in his car on a national highway. The family members of David Raju alleged the role of K A Paul behind the murder of the former.
