Modi Concludes US Tour, Leaves For Netherlands:- After concluding his visit to the US, Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi on Tuesday left for Netherlands, the final leg of his three-nation tour. Modi held talks with President Donald Trump on Tuesday in the US, during which the two leaders vowed to strengthen co- operation on terror. Pakistan has been urged by the two countries India and US, to ensure that its territory is not used to start cross-border strikes. India, US Urge Pakistan To Stop Terror Attacks; Sends Strong Message:- India and the US, sending out a strong message to Pakistan, urged the country to ensure that its territory is not used to start cross-border strikes and to “efficiently” bring justice to the culprits of the 26/11 Mumbai and Pathankot attacks. The Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi and US President Donald Trump vowed to strengthen efforts to fight terrorism and eliminate safe shelter for terrorists. Modi in his joint address with Trump at the White House, told reporters, “Eliminating terrorism is among the topmost priorities for us.” The two sides after the meeting between the leaders “called on Pakistan to ensure that its territory is not used to launch terror attacks on other countries”, the joint statement was issued. It further called on Pakistan to “efficiently bring to justice the perpetrators of the 26/11 Mumbai, Pathankot attacks and other cross-border terrorist attacks perpetrated by Pakistan-based groups.” The prime minister said, “We talked about terrorism, extremism and radicalization and agreed to cooperate on this. Fighting terrorism and doing away with the safe shelters, sanctuaries, and safe havens will be an important part of our cooperation.”  Meanwhile, Trump said both the nations are “determined” to eliminate terrorist organizations and the radical ideology that drives them. “The security partnership between the US and India is incredibly important. The evils of terrorism have stuck both the nations and we both are determined to destroy terrorist organizations and the radical ideology that drives them. We will destroy radical Islamic terrorism,” he said. The two nations in their joint statement noted that, terrorism is a global threat that must be fought in every part of the world, and the US and India would do it together, said Foreign Secretary S Jaishankar. Trump said, “to enhance cooperation between our military forces, our militaries are working every day and they will join together with the Japanese navy to take part in the largest maritime exercise ever conducted in the Indian Ocean next month.” In their address at the White House Rose Garden, the two leaders among other issues, also talked on trade, security, bilateral co- operation and instability in Afghanistan. Modi referred his talks with Trump, the first between the two leaders, as an “important page in the history of India-US relationship”. Discussions have taken place in detail with Trump defence and security cooperation between the two nations, said Modi. Before this meeting, the two leaders have spoken over phone thrice. The prime minister, further describing both countries as “global engines of growth”, said trade, commerce and investment are key areas of mutual co-operation. “Technology, innovation and knowledge economy are also areas we are actively looking at,” he said. On creating a “fair and reciprocal” trade relationship between the two nations, Trump said he is keen to work with Modi. Trump further called for the removal of “barriers” for the export of US goods into Indian markets. “It is important that that we reduce our trade deficit with your country,” he added. The ties between India and US have never been stronger and better, said the US President. He further thanked India, before their meeting began, for ordering military equipment from the US. He expressed pleasure about an order by an Indian airline company for 100 new American planes, calling it one of the largest orders of it is kind, which will support thousands and thousands of American jobs. “We are also looking forward to export more American energy to India as your economy grows, including major long-term contracts to purchase American natural gas, which are right now being negotiated, and we will sign them. Trying to increase the price up a little bit,” he said. The GST reform to be implemented across India starting next month, Trump referring to it said, it was “the largest tax overhaul in your country’s history”. “We are doing that also, by the way. Creating great new opportunities for your citizens. You have a big vision for improving infrastructure, and you are fighting government corruption, which is always a grave threat to democracy,” he said. Trump said and added, the fastest growing economy in the world is India. “We hope we will be catching up you very soon.” Over the rising instability in Afghanistan caused by terrorism, both the leaders also expressed concern and further agreed to continue strengthening coordination for ensuring peace and stability in the war-torn country. The threat posed by North Korea’s nuclear and ballistic programs to be “rapidly” tackled, was also called by Trump. He further thanked Mr Modi for “joining us in applying new sanctions against Pyongyang.” “The North Korean regime is causing tremendous problems and is something that has to be dealt with, and probably dealt with rapidly,” Trump said. 12-Year Old Hyd’s Good Samaritan Takes Upon Himself To Fill Potholes:- The little toddler Chinnari’s death in a borewell near Chevella in Telangana’s Ranga Reddy District has sent shock waves all over, but it has moved a 12-year old to take matters into his own hands. Even as the GHMC remained unmoved, Ravi Teja, a student of a government school, was seen at Habsiguda main road, collecting gravel and filling up potholes on Monday afternoon. The boy who passed his class 5, said he would be joining a residential school in Ghatkesar. Without anyone’s direction or advice, I had gone to work on the potholes, said Ravi Teja. Unmindful of the traffic and the pollution, he worked for hours. When a reporter called Ravi Teja, he said “I cannot forget how Chinnari fell into the borewell and died. Every time I travel I see commuters trying to negotiate their way past potholes. I have seen many people fall. I do not want anyone to die this way. Monday was the first day that I attempted this, I will continue to fill potholes,” he said. When asked if the speeding vehicles were not a concern, he said “No.” Ravi Teja said he would get his friends to join him in his effort. Kudos to you little boy. Movie Ticket Rates To Be Hiked In Telangana:- According to sources, the moviegoers in Telangana State have to shell out more to watch movies in theatres with effect from July 1. The Telangana Government issued orders increasing the ticket prices in all the theaters- single screen and multiplexes. The revised prices came into force with immediate effect. In accordance with increase in taxes under GST, the ticket prices were revised, which has put movie tickets in the 18% tax slab. For the lower class, ticket prices in GHMC and other municipal corporations have been increased to Rs 40 and Rs 120 for higher class in AC theatres, against Rs 75 and Rs 20 at present. The ticket price has increased to Rs20 and Rs60 respectively, in non-AC theatres. But, in municipal corporations, there are no non-AC theatres. The ticket prices in municipalities have been increased to Rs 30 for lower class and Rs 80 for higher class in AC theatres, against Rs 50 and Rs 10 respectively at present. The new ticket prices, in Nagar panchayats and Gram panchayats, are Rs70 for higher class and Rs20 for lower class in AC theaters against Rs30 and Rs10 at present. Tickets for the non-Ac theatres will cost Rs50 and Rs15 against Rs6 (lower) and Rs30 (higher) at present. In multiplexes, a ticket will now cost Rs300 for Gold/Royal Class and Rs200 for Executive/ Regular class, against Rs250 and Rs150 at present. However, the multiplexes should charge 20% less than the maximum ticket price for seats in the first two rows from the screen. On June 23, the Government issued these orders, stating that the revised prices will come into force with immediate effect. The GO was issued on its official website on Monday. However, some theaters have already increased ticket prices from Friday last with the release of Allu Arjun’s ‘DJ Duvvada Jagadham’. All theaters will charge the new prices from today. SUPRAJA

Around 200 Minority Residential Schools have been started by the Telangana government with a sole motive to provide top class education to poor Muslims. On the eve of Ramadan, we have distributed groceries and clothes to over 4 lakh poor Muslims, said Harish Rao. He has further said that they were also offering Rs 20 lakh scholarship to the children of poor Muslims who were going for overseas education since Chief Minister, K.Chandrasekhar Rao was very particular on the development of Muslims. Telangana is the only State in the country to identify Ramadan as the State festival. Keeping up their electoral promise of providing 12% reservations, the Minister has said that they had passed the bill in State Assembly and sent for centre’s approval. The nation’s biggest tax reform since independence, GST is set to be implemented from July 1. The Union Information and Broadcasting minister said “The midnight of June 30 will usher in a historic economic transformation - the biggest reform in indirect taxes since independence with the rolling out of the GST regime.” Naidu said with Prime Minister Narendra Modi striking the mantra of “reform, perform and transform”, GST is the biggest transformation of the taxation system and brings in transparency and economic integration, which in turn will strengthen national integration. In 1968, Gupta founded Lupin and created a global pharmaceutical major with a presence in over 100 countries. He is survived by wife, four daughters and a son. A company spokesperson said Gupta’s death was sudden. Until his last working day, Mr. Gupta was active in the capacity of founder and chairman. Various Political Parties Demand CBI Probe Into Vizag Land Scam:- Various political parties have organized a demonstration in the city on Monday demanding inquiry into the irregularities in the Visakhapatnam Urban Development Authority (VUDA) land pooling and land scam in the district by CBI or a sitting judge. The leaders who assembled in front of the Gandhi statue opposite the GVMC main office, took exception to the Government delaying action on those who grabbed thousands of acres of land in rural Visakhapatnam and diluting the issue in the name of special investigation team (SIT) inquiry. It was surprising that no action was taken on Parachuri Bhaskara Rao, brother of minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao, though he grabbed five acres of government land to develop a layout and was selling it in the form of house-sites, they said. The leaders also alleged that lands valued at several hundreds of crores of rupees were being advanced upon in Madhuravada area, but still the Government did not seem bothered.
