70 Russian drones hits Ukraine's Kyiv November 25, 2023 19:54

70 Russian drones hits Ukraine's Kyiv:- Ukrainian officials have reported that more than 70 drones were fired at Kyiv by Russia, resulting in at least five people being wounded. This drone attack is said to be the largest in the ongoing war. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy condemned the attack, describing it as an act of deliberate terror. He expressed his concern about the Russian leadership's apparent pride in their ability to cause harm. The attack, carried out using Shahed kamikaze drones of Iranian design, began in the early hours of Saturday and continued throughout the morning. The air raid warning lasted for a duration of six hours. Out of the 75 drones launched, 71 were successfully intercepted by the Ukrainian air force. Air force chief Mykola Oleschuk commended the effectiveness of the "mobile fire" units, which played a significant role in taking down nearly 40 percent of the drones. Mayor Vitali Klitschko of Kyiv reported that the attack resulted in injuries to five people, including an 11-year-old girl, and caused damage to buildings across various districts of the city. He also mentioned that a fire broke out in a children's nursery due to fragments from a downed drone. In the past few weeks, there have been cautionary statements about Russia's intentions to launch another aerial offensive aimed at dismantling Ukraine's energy infrastructure.

Election Commission clears Rythu Bandhu scheme:- Just a week before the elections in Telangana, the Election Commission of India (ECI) has granted permission to the state government to distribute funds to farmers through the Rythu Bandhu scheme. Under this scheme, farmers receive Rs 5,000 per acre for the rabi season, meaning a total of Rs 7,500 crore will be given to 70 lakh farmers. The ECI officials have announced that the distribution of funds for the rabi season will commence on Friday, following the guidelines set by the ECI. They have assured that the direct benefit transfer under the scheme will not be affected, even on the day of the elections. It is worth noting that providing assistance through the Rythu Bandhu scheme shortly before the December 7 polls in 2018 resulted in significant electoral gains for the BRS party. Revanth Reddy's strong counter to KCR November 23, 2023 15:18

Revanth Reddy's strong counter to KCR:- In Kodangal, BRS leader K. Chandrashekar Rao made it clear that TPCC leader A. Revanth Reddy would not be the next Chief Minister and that the Congress would only secure a maximum of 20 seats. Revanth Reddy responded by challenging Rao, stating that he was willing to accept any punishment if the Congress did not secure at least 80 seats. During his public addresses in Nizamabad (Rural), Narayankhed, Gajwel, and Kukatpally, Revanth emphasized that the Congress will campaign based on the Sriramsagar project, and questioned whether Rao would do the same for the Kaleshwaram project or Medigadda barrage. Revanth criticized Rao for labeling the "Indiramma Rajyam" as a "regime of poverty and starvation." He argued that "Indiramma Rajyam" represents a government that supports the poor, while "BRS Rajyam" symbolizes a government that benefits the feudal lords and thieves. Revanth also accused Rao of deceiving the poor by promising them double bedroom houses, but only constructing a 150-room Pragathi Bhavan for himself. In defense of the "Indiramma Rajyam," Revanth highlighted the welfare and development initiatives implemented by Congress governments, specifically the construction of houses for the underprivileged. Our government was not composed of thieves or feudal rulers, but the leaders of the BRS were engaged in corrupt practices, such as taking commissions and participating in illegal sand and land dealings. It is imperative that they are expelled from power.
