No relief for Kavitha in Delhi Liquor Scam Case:- Rouse Avenue court in Delhi on Tuesday sent a 14-day judicial remand to Bharat Rashtriya Samiti (BRS) leader K Kavitha in the Delhi excise scam case. Kavitha appeared in court after completing the remand process. Special Judge Kaveri Baweja issued the order after the Enforcement Directorate (ED) did not seek an extension of the remand. During the proceedings, Kavitha's lawyer Nitesh Rana sought interim bail pending the examination of his minor son. ED's lawyer opposed bail and said that even if interim bail is considered, an opportunity must be given to file a reply. According to this provision, the relevant authorities were obliged to immediately send the arrest warrant to the court along with the documents in their possession after the arrest. Federal investigators told the court that the ED recorded the statement of the BRS leader during her remand, interrogated her and confronted several people with digital recordings. Raghurama Krishna Raju to contest as MLA from TDP March 26, 2024 13:24

Raghurama Krishna Raju to contest as MLA from TDP:- Narasapuram's incumbent MP, K Raghurama Krishna Raju (RRR), is now turning to the TDP for hope since he was unable to secure a BJP ticket. He has expressed his desire to run for office either in the Undi Assembly constituency or the Vizianagaram Lok Sabha seat. Raghurama Krishna Raju made it clear that he will be running for re-election in the Narsapuram Lok Sabha constituency under the banner of either the TDP, BJP, or Jana Sena. Having established close relationships with all three parties, Raghurama is confident that any one of them will grant him a ticket. It has been reported that he resigned from the YSRCP and his MP position recently. Reliable sources have indicated that he was originally planning to join the TDP in February, but ultimately decided against it in order to pursue a candidacy with the BJP. On the other hand, Raghurama is now making allegations that YSRCP leader YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, in collusion with former BJP State president Somu Veerraju, conspired to prevent him from securing the BJP seat. As part of the alliance between the TDP, JSP, and BJP, the BJP has already finalized its candidates for six MP seats in Andhra Pradesh. After the subsequent negotiations, the BJP emerged victorious in Rajampeta, leaving the seat vacant. As a result, the TDP secured the Vizianagaram seat. According to reliable sources, the TDP plans to nominate Raghurama Krishna Raju as their candidate for Vizianagaram. The party believes that Raghurama, who has always fought against Jagan Mohan Reddy's corrupt practices as a rebel MP for YSRCP, should be elected as an MP. A senior TDP leader confirmed that Raghurama also played a significant role in the legal battle in New Delhi following Chandrababu Naidu's arrest, and the party is committed to standing by him. Raghurama's supporters are actively campaigning in Bhimavaram, assuring the people that he will meet Chandrababu Naidu and officially join the TDP within the next two days. It was already evident that the BJP would secure the Narasapuram Lok Sabha seat and nominate B Srinivasa Varma as their candidate. Neither Raghurama nor the TDP oppose this decision by the BJP. In case the TDP cannot offer him a ticket to contest from the Vizianagaram Lok Sabha constituency, the party leadership is preparing to provide Raghurama with an opportunity to be elected as an MLA from the Undi constituency.

With the upcoming general election, the electoral dynamics in Vizag have become a topic of interest. The competition for the alliance's candidate from Vizag between BJP's GVL Narasimha Rao and TDP's GITAM Bharath was intense. He mentioned his supporters' disappointment and hinted at discussing future plans with them. Harish Rao demands Rs.25,000 compensation per acre for Farmers March 25, 2024 17:32

Harish Rao demands Rs.25,000 compensation per acre for Farmers:- In the span of 100 days under the Congress rule, 180 farmers tragically took their own lives, according to T Harish Rao, a former Minister. In light of this devastating reality, Rao is calling on the Congress government to provide compensation of Rs.25,000 per acre to the affected farmers. Since the Congress came into power, farmers have been grappling with issues related to power and water supply. In addition to this, there have been numerous instances of transformers malfunctioning and motors exploding. Despite this dire situation, the Congress Ministers have failed to offer any consolation or support to the grieving families, as Rao has pointed out. సీఎం, మంత్రులు హైదరాబాద్‌లో రాజకీయాలు మాని వ్యవసాయ క్షేత్రాలకు వచ్చి రైతులకు ఆత్మవిశ్వాసం కల్పించండిముఖ్యమంత్రి మా ఎమ్మెల్యేలను… pic.twitter.com/h5ZZq7g8cr — BRS Party (@BRSparty) March 24, 2024 During his interactions with farmers in the Palakurthy constituency on Sunday, Rao expressed his disappointment with Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy's priorities. He accused Reddy of being more interested in welcoming new leaders into the Congress than in addressing the needs of the farmers, particularly in terms of providing water. What is truly disheartening is that despite the availability of water from the River Godavari, the Congress government has neglected the farming community by not supplying them with this crucial resource. As a consequence, almost 20 lakh acres of agricultural land have dried up, and the unseasonal rains have further damaged countless crops, Rao revealed. Rao has been highly critical of the Congress party, especially in regards to their failure to fulfill the promises they made to the farmers. Prior to the Assembly elections, the Congress had made grand assurances to the farming community. However, it is evident that these promises were merely empty words, as the farmers continue to suffer without the support and resources they were guaranteed.
