Three biggest face-washing mistakes you are doing

Rinsing you face with just a dollop of face wash at the end of the day might seem like the easiest part of your beauty ritual, isn't it? But turns out that most people tend to lather up wrongly, causing a wad of skin woes like dryness, oiliness, breakouts and irritation. Learn the three face-washing mistakes that you are committing and ways to stop them at once. Read on.

Picking the wrong facewash

Yes, this is the number one mistake that most of us make - not picking the right cleanser. A right face wash would remove all the grub and grime off your face without striping away your skin's natural oil's or healthy cells. Get one that does the job and cleanse your face twice a day, scrubbing a little strongly to cleanse it thoroughly.

Overdoing it

Don't wash your skin more than twice in a day. Going overboard with your cleaning process could irritate your skin, leading to over production of oil. In case you are someone who barely uses any make up in the evening, rinsing with tepid water is enough to clean it.

Wrong Temperature

No matter how good hot water feels on your skin, rinsing your skin with it can strip its natural, protective oils and lead or over-drying or over-production of sebums. Lukewarm water is your best bet that way.
