If you have a fair skin tone, then go for a foundation color that is one tone high than your skin tone. Apply rose color or natural shade for your cheeks, natural color for lips and eye shadow as well. If you are going for a party or a special occasion, both when choosing lip color and eye shadow you can experiment with bold shades like brown.

Irrespective of the skin tone, if you want to cover up some marks or spots on your face mix some liquid concealer with the foundation and apply.

If you have a dusky skin tone, then choose the foundation that is nearer to your skin tone. It is better to choose light colors or natural shades as lip color and eye shadow.
