Rs. 25 cr for WTC

Tourism minister Vatti Vasanth Kumar has said that the state government was spending Rs. 25 crore for the World Telugu Conference, which will take place in Tirupati. He has also said that the arrangements had been going on in full swing for making the conference a big success. He has also said that over 5,000 NRIs would take part in the meeting. It may be noted that chief minister Kiran Kumar Reddy earlier held a high level meet over arrangements for this conference, which would be held after a gap of 37 years. Notably, the first WTC was held way back in 1975. If news is to be believed, the conference would be held for three day between December 27 and December 29.
