The art of parenting

We like to be called as 'strict parents' by our kids. But it is known by now that not by being tough but by understanding and giving importance to kid's thoughts and actions, we can ensure a better growth of our child.

Don't order your kid to eat, study, sleep at your fixed time. Instead take them close to you and explain the advantages of eating on time, doing things according to a plan and getting a proper rest. If not in the first go, kids will for sure understand the importance of your explanation and will act accordingly. If you order, it would seem you do not understand what your kid wants. If you explain and leave the rest on your kid to do, you not only are giving respect to their thoughts but are also being a proper guide. Kids will for sure understand you and then chances of them sharing each and every aspect in their daily routine with you are very high.

Comparisons will not be taken by us being elders, then how can we even imagine our kids would react positive if we compare them with other kids be it in terms of education, behavior or whatever??? Never compare your kid with other and as discussed earlier, try making your kid understand the advantages of what do you want them to do.

Never showcase your anger... it gives nothing... instead if your kid has done any mistake ask them what made them to do so and correct them in a right way. The more you showcase your anger and scold them, the higher chances of them getting away from you and develop grudge on you, become tough and stubborn and behave indifferent...

Definitely, parenting is not only a joy but an art...
