1) Get Lipstick Base Supplies

Remember that this lipstick recipe is natural, so the colors you will look are subtle and earth-toned. Few of the options are :

- Use beetroot powder or crushed beet chips for a bright red lipstick.

- To achieve a reddish-brown color, Cinnamon can be used.

- To make the shade more coppery, turmeric can be mixed with other powders.

- Give your lipstick a deep brown hue with cocoa powder.

3) Melt The Base Ingredients Together

In a microwave-safe bowl, put the lipstick-base ingredients. Place it in the microwave and heat the ingredients in 30-second increments until they are melted. To make sure they are thoroughly incorporated, stir the ingredients well.

You can also melt the ingredients in a double-boiler. All you have to do is heat roughly 2 inches (5 cm) of water in a large saucepan over medium-high heat, then add the ingredients to a smaller pan sitting inside the first. Stir and heat until everything melts and blends together.

4) Mix In The Color

Add 1/8 - 1/4 teaspoon of the natural powder you want to use. For a more saturated result, mix in more powder. Stir the powder into the base mixture, and until you are satisfied with the color, continue adding more in small increments.

5) Pour The Mixture Into Containers

For your new lipstick, you can use an old lipstick or chapstick tube, a small cosmetics pot, or any container with a lid as a container. Before you use it, let the lipstick harden at room temperature or in the refrigerator.
