NRI doctors' website to help Indian medicos!

A website has been launched on Thursday in India by NRI doctors, which is expected to work as a bridge between NRI doctors and people of India to provide medical aide. The website was launched as a part of the Global Healthcare Summit 2013, which was concluded in Kochi of Kerala. The website would also enable the government to post all requests for collaboration that includes training and exchange of technology. The clinical service is also most likely to be launched on the website. Doctors and other medical professionals in India can go to the foreign country to volunteer for these services.

The Global Association of Physicians of Indian Origin and Indian Medical Association in association with union ministries of overseas Indian affairs and health launched the Indian medical diaspora in Kerala, which received good response. The NRI doctors have said that they would help Indian medical professionals with innovative health solutions. The same can even be used by the government, they added.

It may be noted there has been a loud cry among many educationists in India that people of India are studying here and serving foreign countries. The current initiative by NRI doctors will not only make them contended but also gives a feeling among fellow citizens that yes, our Indians, although working in foreign countries, are contributing to our country too. Hail the move!
