Jyothi Chandramenan, 36, has been living in England and has married Christopher a resident of England. They had met with a bitter experience on their visit to India to the Jyothi's native place. Lodging at a high class star restaurant, the couple left their belongings in the Hotel, and left for shopping.

On returning they found out that they were robbed of their valuables which included a diamond and other jewelry which all cost to Rs 12 lakh. The incident happened at Coimbatore.

It was immediately evident that two men who dressed well have observed the couple and followed them to the hotel. After the couple went shopping, the men feigning to be the relatives of the NRI couple had asked for the master key to their room, swiftly finished their business and calmly walked away with the valuables.

The shocked couple had lodged a complaint with the police. They are yet to track the criminals.
