Are you an Indian national residing in UK and unmarried? Well, make sure you at least earn Rs. 16 lakh per month in case you wish to marry and carry your partner to UK. Awww...this would exactly be your expression! Easy to guess...since most of Indian nationals in UK earn peanuts there and struggle hard to earn their daily bread and butter.

The UK Government has laid down special rules stating that a spouse of UK resident would be given visa only if his/her partner earns Rs. 16 lakh per month. The new rules would come to effect on July 9.

And if you already have a wife and child and now wants to shift to UK, you should earn at least Rs. 19.40 lakh per month.  You might now get a doubt-what if you have more than a child? Add Rs. Two lakh extra on every child. So, if you have two children, then Rs. 19.40+Rs. 2 lakh.

Many of them reportedly postponed their migration plans and that’s what the government exactly wanted. It has said that these strict rules came to effect only to avoid excessive migration from other countries.
