It will be directed by Sunil Reddy, who earlier directed 'Om 3d' with Kalyan Ram in the lead, and also the producer of the flick. Though the film did not work out well, it is appreciable that, Sai is working with Sunil, believing in his directional skills. Clash of opinions about Sai new film Thikka director. But the mega fans are giving different opinions on the project, as though the title is strong, the director might not live up to the expectations. However, it is the subject that made ‘Om 3d’ film to drop down, but not because of Sunil’s direction. As of now, Sai is working for ‘Subramanyam for Sale’ movie, under Gabbar Singh fame Harish Shankar direction. The film was launched in the past and is awaiting its release now. Subramanyam for Sale audio release will be made on Chiranjeevi’s birthday as a tribute to his other uncle. After a class title like Subramanyam for Sale, it seems, Sai is aiming to be a full fledged action hero, and that might be the reason behind opting a perfect mass title. Hope the saga of Mega heroes entertaining mass public, will continue through Sai Dharam Tej too. By Phani

Andhra Pradesh Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao reacted on Rishiteshwari case and strictly warned all the culprits. Finally, one leader came out of Andhra Pradesh government to react strongly on Rishiteshwari death issue. Speaking to the media, Ganta said that, “the Universities has become the centers for all types of irregularities. There is no scope of entertaining any such incidents on the girl students in the state.”“A serious action will be taken on all the culprits involved in Rishiteshwari death, no scope of sparing any person involved in the case, however big they are,” Ghanta warned. Inquiry on Rishiteshwari case is going on The inquiry on Rishiteshwari case is currently going on in the university itself. A four member committee was formed regarding this. The university students are sent to home, declaring the holidays. So this is seriously objected by the student unions and even the parents of Rishiteshwari.“The inquiry will be useless when students are not present in the college premises. More details can be found from the students,” the student unions and Rishiteshwari parents argued. So regarding this, Rishiteshwari parents demanded that, the inquiry should continue for five more days, after the return of the students from the holidays. The Principal should rejoin - Rishiteshwari parents demand It is known that, Principal Babu Rao was suspended from his duties. But now, Rishiteshwari parents strongly demand that, the principal should rejoin in the job and only then, proper details relating to the case, can be found out.  Various Unanswered questions in Rishiteshwari case; Logic-less silence of the media On the other hand, it seems, the inquiry that officials are carrying out currently, is just a namesake one. There is no logic behind why most of the leaders are silent, including Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, on Rishiteshwari death issue. Except one or two channels, no media is able to hype the case. All these incidents are paving the way for buzz in common public that, a proper judgment in Rishiteshwari case might remain as a question forever. By Phani

Most of us like to dye our hair for different occasions. It looks trendy and beautiful but it may eventually take a toll on the quality of hair. Here are some simple tips for damage control. Reduce shampooing: The hair produces oils naturally. It helps in nourishing the hair. So be sure to not shampoo it more than twice a week as the chemicals in the shampoos may make your hair dry. Avoid hair dryers: After showering, your hair dries almost instantly. Avoid using of hair dryers as it may break your hair. If you have to use a heating device, make sure it's on low settings. Apply a hair mask: There are a variety of 'hair masks' that you can make with eggs, milk, honey or bananas to improve the quality of your hair. Condition your hair: After you wash your hair with shampoo, apply conditioner to it and wear a shower cap. Leave the conditioner on for 30 minutes and then wash with cold water. Choose an appropriate comb: Use a wide-toothed comb and only brush your hair once it is completely dry. If you untangle it while it is wet, you may risk breakage.By Lizitha

Coffee consumption linked to Alzheimer’s disease, says study July 30, 2015 18:22

Coffee has many health benefits. But increase consumption overtime may increase risk of mild cognitive impairment (MCI) early symptoms of Alzheimer's disease (AD) and dementia, says new research. These findings were published in the Journal of Alzheimer's Disease. The researchers from University of Bari Aldo Moro, Bari, Italy examined 1,445 individuals recruited from 5,632 subjects, aged 65-84 year old, from the Italian Longitudinal Study on Ageing (ILSA), a population-based sample from eight Italian municipalities. The study found that cognitively normal older individuals who modified their habits by increasing with time their amount of coffee consumption ( more than a cup of coffee per day) had about two times higher rate of MCI compared to those with reduced habits (less than a cup of coffee per day). They also had about one and a half time higher rate of MCI in comparison with those with constant habits (neither more nor less than one cup of coffee per day). The researchers also showed that both rare and higher consumption of coffee (more than 2 cups per day) were associated with higher risk of the incidence of MCI. Huge Ocean may be hidden underneath, Xinjiang Institute of Ecology and Geography research says July 30, 2015 17:54

According to a breakthrough discovery by Chinese scientists, there could be an “ocean” hidden under one of the driest areas on the earth. The amount of salt water found beneath the Tarim basin in northwestern Xinjiang province might be equivalent to 10 times the water in all five Great Lakes in the North America.“This is a terrifying amount of water,” said professor Li Yan, who led the study at the Chinese Academy of Sciences’ Xinjiang Institute of Ecology and Geography in Urumqi, the Xinjiang capital. “Never before have people dared to imagine so much water under the sand. Our definition of desert may have to change,” he said.Around 10 years ago during the course of research, Li’s team found that large amounts of carbondioxide are disappearing in Tarim, with no explanation over where it could be going.Scientists had suspected that the melt water from high mountains nearby might had sipped beneath the basin, but the exact amount of water reserves available remains unknown. Exact estimates on this are difficult, because surface water in the region, such as seasonal rivers and lakes appear at random times in inconsistent locations, making direct measurements impossible.Li’s team stumbled on the discovery accidently. “We were after carbon, not water,” he said. Greenhouse gas carbondioxide can be absorbed in the certain regions known as "carbon sinks", such as forests and oceans. Locating these sinks will help the scientists to better understand climate change. They have found that under the Tarim desert, over a depth stretching thousands of metres, there is an enormous amount of saline water full of carbon dioxide. “Our estimate is a conservative figure. The actual amount could be larger,” Li said.“CCS [carbon capture and storage] is a 21st century idea, but our ancestors may have been doing it unconsciously for thousands of years," he said. Li emphasised that the "ocean" under Tarim would not be much immediate use of Xinjiang's economic development. “It’s like a can of coke. If it is opened all the greenhouse gas will escape into the atmosphere,” he said.By Premji

Ultra violet light kills pathogens in fruits, finds study July 30, 2015 17:27

Simple and inexpensive Ultraviolet rays can kill food borne pathogens on the surface of fruits, according to a study performed by Washington State University food safety specialists. "UVC radiation is present in sunlight. It has germicidal properties and can be effective against bacteria, mould and viruses. However, it is completely absorbed by the ozone layer and earth's atmosphere," said Shyam Sablani, lead researcher and food safety specialist. After learning from organic farmers and food processors about a lack of sanitising options, Sablani and his colleagues decided to looked into alternatives and decided to explore Ultraviolet C (UVC) light. They found that UVC light, which cannot penetrate opaque, solid objects, can be effective in sanitizing surfaces. Sablani and his colleagues exposed apples, pears, strawberries, raspberries and cantaloupe to different doses of UVC to determine how effective the pathogen-killing light was against a mix of strains of E coli and listeria. They found that the light can inactivate up to 99.9 per cent of pathogens on apples and pears. However, listeria was more UVC resistant than E coli. The study was published in the International Journal of Food Microbiology.By Lizitha
