Another 20 students from the Telangana state, heading towards US varsities, were stopped at Chicago airport by the immigration officials and are being sent back to India.
It is known that, in the last week, about 100 students, who were heading towards US varsities, were deported, due to some immigration problem. Adding to the same list, now another 20 students are again deported.
Reportedly, after securing admission through consultants in Hyderabad, the students were heading to the Chicago Universities.
Many students from the Telugu states lacked the basic skills, while answering to the queries of the officials, after landing in the US. A few students even failed to answer the queries at immigration, especially on the part-time jobs.
Responding to the issue, the External Affairs Ministry, recently issued a notice to the aspiring US students, to postpone their travel until the issue is resolved. But the students, who are not concerned about the warning, went forward, with their travel plans.
Even a report was released by the FBI, warning the government, against the huge number of students entering the US, not for the studies, but only to do part time jobs, which made the scrutiny at the immigration counter, stricter.
Telugu Association of North America (TANA) representatives are reportedly, trying to resolve the immigration problems of the Indian students, in the US.
