Telugu new year Ugadi was celebrated with much pomp and geity in Dubai. The celebrations that kicked off with panchanga sravanam have concluded with award ceremony. A large number of Telugu people in Dubai flocked to Sheikh Rasheed auditorium where these celebrations took place. A large number of children too took part in many cultural events. Some performed classical dances while a few show case their singing talent.

All in all, it was a great show, as per the audience present over there. Notably, this is not the first time wherein such programmes are taking place off shores. Telugu people, irrespective of where they are, celebrate all Telugu festival in foreign countries and helped in reaching Indian culture across the globe.
