Indian spiritual books sell like hot cakes in foreign countries

Publish anything sizzling on magazine’s cover page, they will be sold like hot cakes in India. That could be the reason why even a porn star from west, Sunny Leone made India her destination. But then the situation in foreign countries is entirely different. The books on spiritualism that are published in India are in great demand in foreign lands. The irony is that people will not even take these books for free. And imagine, books on spiritualism have got the unique selling proposition in many countries including the United States of America.

The National Book Trust India (NBA) director, M A Sikander has said that the books on India spiritualism are in great demand in foreign countries including China.  Stressing on enquiries by foreigners, Sikandar has said that many Chinese nationals are after Indian spiritual books only to know what makes Indians so happy.

He has also said that many people in foreign countries who are purchasing these books are making their payments online without the need of visiting the book stores.

Further, he said France has shown interest in translating Hindi spiritual books to French and distribute them in their country.

India has always thought something to the west, right from culture to education to spirituality, India has always been the care of address for many subjects.  (Phani)
