Eluru Congress MP Sambasiva Rao has said that bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh was impossible. He has said that there were no instances wherein states were formed over mere sentiments.  To make a point, Mr. Kavuri said a few persons were allegedly exciting youth, the economical poor and NRIs and indulging in violence. He has also said that in case there were any under developed regions or districts in the state, there was no wrong in taking special care towards such regions by the government.

Mentioning about regional parties, Kavuri Sambasiva Rao said a few leaders from Telangana region were demanding Telangana state for their benefits. While Congress high command has been time and again reminding Telangana issue was a sensitive one and was urging political leaders for maintaining peace over the turmoil, it's unfortunate that Congress leaders themselves are coming out with contradictory and controversial statements, opined political analysts. Some political observers even said that any contradictory statement on Telangana by any Congress leader can completely wash out the party from this region as they observe that everyone in the region have been pressing the demand for separate state for over decades. They even mentioned that people were demanding a division in the state and not among people.
