The notification to by-polls to 18 assembly constituencies and one Loksabha constituency has been released by the election commission. The nominations of candidates for these by-polls will begin on May 25 from 11 AM to 3 PM. The nominations would be scrutinized on May 26. And for withdrawal of nominations, May 28 is the last date.

The polling in these constituencies will take place on June 12 from 8 AM to 5 PM. The counting of votes would take place on June 15.  So, the fate of the candidates that will be sealed on June 12 will be revealed on June 15.

Now that the election notification is released, will YSR Congress president Jagan be arrested? This is the question that’s being discussed among the public in the state as earlier many Congress leaders reportedly said Jagan would be arrested the moment election notification is released.
