Former PCC president D Srinivas, who was given the green signal from the high command, last night, has filed his nomination for the MLC, today at Hyderabad. All the stalwarts of the party including the Chief Minister N.Kiran Kumar Reddy and the PCC chief Botsa were present.

Meanwhile the party’s leaders from Telangana felt it was the move in the direction of liberation of the separate state hood. They welcomed the move and felt that this would aid their movement largely. They also felt that it was the recognition given to DS for single handedly leading the party towards victory in the past. Among the people who appreciated the decision were the party’s MP Madhu Yashki, Minister Basavaraju Parayya and MLA G Venkataramana Reddy.
