After two and half years, the shooting of director Shankar's 'I' has come to end this morning in Chennai. On this note, the entire cast and crew had a small celebrations on the sets. The film unit arranged a cake and director Shankar had cut it. Along with Shankar, hero Vikram and heroine Amy Jackson were also seen cutting the cake.

Amy Jackson shared a picture in her Twitter page and wrote, “2 and a half years later.. And it's a WRAP!!!!” The post production work will take lot of time as special effects will have lot of scope in this flick. However as announced earlier, 'I' movie will not be releasing for Diwali and the makers are yet to reveal the fresh release date.

Meanwhile, the makers are getting for Hindi and Telugu audio release events which are schedule in October.
