Arjun Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer 2 States has entered 100 crore club recently and now the makers have more reasons to smile as they sold the remake rights for a huge price. Pawan Kalyan's friend Prasad V Potluri has bought the remake rights of this film however the figures were not disclosed.

PVP Cinema has bagged the 2 States rights in Telugu and Tamil however it is yet to be confirmed whether Pawan Kalyan will feature in the remake project or not. Earlier we have seen Pawan in remake of Love Aaj Kal [Theenmaar], but the movie disappointed at box office.

2 States is based on the novel written by Chetan Bhagat. Abhishek Varman directed the movie while Karan Johar produced it.
