Brahmanandam's son Gautham's upcoming movie Basanti will be releasing on Shivarathri i.e, on February 27th . The movie had its music launch couple weeks ago in Hyderabad and after serious consulting and estimating all the factors for smooth release, the makers of the film have zeroed upon the release date.

Currently the film unit is busy with promoting the movie and Gautham too is aggressively participating in the promotion of Basanti. This is a crucial film for Gautham as he has been desperate to strike box office. Banam director Chaitanya Dhantuluri produced and directed the movie while Mani Sharma rendered music.
