Mahesh Babu's Okkadu movie which is being remade in Hindi with Arjun Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha in the lead roles has been titled as Tevar. Currently the shooting of this film is in brisk progress in parts of North India and actor Manoj Bhapai is reprising the role of Prakash Raj in this film.

Arjun's father Boney Kapoor is producing the movie on BSK Entertainments banner while a new director Amit Sharma is wielding megaphone for this project and Santosh Sivan is handling the cinematography. The movie is expected to hit screens for summer.
