Ram Leela with its rich production should have entered 100 crore club in the first week itself.  But it is slow in attaining 100 crore mark because of the adult stuff in it.

Because of the excess of romantic scenes and dialogues in the movie as the word reached the cine lovers, some class of the people in the society have withdrawn from going to the movie.  Another point is the controversy it has received due to the petitions in the court and complaints in the media from various religious associations also made a section of the people to opt out.

But slowly the movie is getting out of the controversies as the word spread about it.  Ram leela should have reached 100 crore club as it deserves much before in the absence of the above.  Sanjay Leela Bansali’s Ram Leela is made in accordance to his reputation and also more.

Interestingly it is the fourth 100 crore movie for Deepika Padukone after Race-2, Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani and Chennai Express.
