Yash Chopra in Lilavati Hospital with Dengue

The veteran of Bollywood, Yash Chopra who had an immense effect across the nation on celluloid romantic candyfloss tales had just retired after reaching the enigmatic eighties last month (September 27). Sources say that he is admitted on Saturday after he complained of weakness at the Lilavati Hospital. They also confirm that the veteran Director and Producer has been in the ICU and is soon to be shifted to the ward as he is fast recovering.

Chopraji family members are at the hospital but none have divulged on any details on Sunday. However Yash raj Films released a statement in this regards, before speculations could pick up.

'Yash Chopra was admitted to hospital on Saturday after being diagnosed with an attack of dengue. He has been kept under observation. He is feeling much better and should be home soon. Thank you all for your concern and best wishes.'

Rani Mukjerjee, once reigning Queen of B-Wood, has canceled all her promotions for her just released film Aayyaa, while other members of the crew shall continue in her absence.  Ms Mukherjee is the soon to be daughter-in-law to the veteran. Sources say that ever since he was admitted, the actor has not left the hospital.

Chopraji is right now shooting for his final directorial venture, Jab Tak Hai Jaan that is slated for release on Nov 13.The film stars Bollywood Badshah Sharukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma in the lead. Chopraji has given several hits in his more than five decade old career like Deewar, Kabhie Kabhie, Trishul, Silsila, Chandni and Veer Zaara.  (With inputs from internet-AW AarKay)
