Sallu Bhai's driver thrashed in Rajasthan

Looks like this time the box office Badshah of Bollywood has managed to escape from a scuffle which ended up in a brawl with locals. The event unfolded on the sets of Dabangg 2 at Rajasthan. The crew were shooting in the Satara district's Sangam Mahuli village. The actor to have a local feel and to emote naturally wanted to have the essence of the village lifestyle and drove down to Panchgani  village nearby.

He was accompanied by his bodyguard Rodrigues and his driver on his Toyota Innova. On their way back from the village the weather was foggy. And the star wanted to go for a two wheeler ride and his bike was brought down from Sangam, midway. He then rode the bike back to the camp home. And the bodyguard and driver drove back the actor's car.

Due to heavy fog the driver was going slow and a jeep filled with villagers was hooting behind. The driver went on his own pace and did not even give way for the other vehicle. The frustrated jeep driver went out of the way in a filmy style and overtook the car and stopped it. Then a verbal duel started between the two parties that ended in a brawl. In the melee the driver was thrashed and both the parties rushed to the nearby Panchgani Police Station to complain.

However the crew had decided to restrict its movements after the incident which is still pending for investigation. An official spokesperson of the Pune Petrol Dealers' Association Ali Daruwalla who is also a good friend of the crew, especially to producer Monty Sharma and our Sallu Bhai, spoke to a leading daily about the incident.

'The matter is with the police. Local residents beat up Salman's driver and bodyguard. However, the shooting of Dabangg 2 will continue. However, the crew will be taking more precautions and some restrictions on movement would be imposed to avoid similar instances. Salman is safe and fine,' he narrated to the daily.
