Yash Chopra, had already made public the news of his next movie starring Shahukh Khan, Katrina Kaid and Anushka Sharma but he had not made the details of the name public. This movie could easily be the most anticipated movies of the year. According to the media, SRK plays the role of a army officer for which he had visited Kashmir for the first time.

Taran Adarsh a Bollywood insider, however broke the suspense by revealing the name of the movie in his tweet saying "Breaking: Yash Chopra's new film is called 'Jab Tak Hai Jaan'. Stars @iamsrk Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma”

A film poster had confirmed that the tweets of the insider were not mere rumors. The movie title seems to be borrowed from the blockbuster movie Sholay's final song from Basanti, Jab Tak Hai Jaan. This brings back fond memories of the super hit film Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge, first Chopra-SRK collaboration, the name of which was also borrowed from a song.

SRK  humorously tweeted back saying"Tomorrow...the tıtle of yashji's film wıll be released. Would tell u now...but will have to kıdnap u all and keep u tied down..ha ha."

The reason behind the secrecy of the title was unknown. Even on sets the movie was referred to as 'production #45' and 'new production' by the cast and crew during filming.

In this film, Shah Rukh Khan plays military man Samar, Katrina Kaif plays Khushi and Anushka Sharma, who's role is really an extended cameo, plays Muskaan. The movie is set to be released for Diwali on November 13, this year.
