Glamorous actress Ileana D'Cruz seemed to have heard about the talk, which had been in the air ever since her Julayi cinema got released. The admirers of Ileana were presumably upset with Ileana losing her weight. There were even reports that Ileana looked like a skeleton in glamorous clothes. Irked over such reports, Ileana came down with clarifications. She said she was not happy that she has lost weight and stressed she became so lean intentionally as one of the characters in a Bollywood film (which is done by her) demanded that. It may be noted that Ileana D'Cruz, who mostly appears in Tollywood films, is all set to make a Bollywood debut with  Barfi.

She, however, said she lost some extra weight that what she planned due to busy schedules. She even said Telugu audience like plump actresses. So, she said she was putting on more weight. In her Bollywood film Barfee, Ileana plays Shruti opposite Ranbir Kapoor.
